Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Zaheer Abbas believes that Indian Premier League (IPL) benefited teams whose players participated in it, ahead of next month’s World T20 Championship in England. “Definitely teams like Indian, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia have benefited from the ongoing IPL tournament. They will be much better prepared for the next month’s World T20 Championship than Pakistan,” Zaheer said. Pakistani players did not feature in the second IPL season because of the strained Pakistan-India relations.
